Delicious Account - 15:00pm

I can now confirm that I have signed up to a Delicious account. This account will be available to all other members of the group. This service will allow the team to see where all the information from our final powerpoint has come from. This will allow the team to share bookmarks with eachother and it will help the organisation of the team. I have notified the other members of the group through email about the new social bookmarking service we have joined.

Team Meeting - 05/11/2010

Meeting Objectives:
  1. Confirm who will lead the meeting and why.
  2. Agree and decide on team roles within the team.
  3. Decide when the team will hold a scheduled meeting.
  4. Agree and prepare a team plan.
  5. Summary: What actions need to be done by the next meeting.
(1) Team Leader

The team have decided to nominate myself as the leader. The reasons for this decision are that they believe I am a very organised and a good motivator. They feel I am a good communicator and will be able to help the team progress and past objectives. By having a team leader who is organised and a good communicator, will help the team keep on track and see what stage their at. If something needs to be done or something goes wrong I feel I can deliver the message or advice in a consultive manner. If the morale is not good within the team, I believe that I can motivate the team and keep them focused on the task on hand. Any issues that occur in the team, I will organise a meeting with them and discuss any affairs they are not happy about and would like to improve.

(2) Team Roles

We discussed and allocated roles in a consultive manner. We came to a decision by what sections people in the team feel more confident about and willing to take on. Everyone was satisfied by the final decision and what role they have been allocated. As their are only 3 members in the group, we discussed and agreed on sharing the control over the last goal (telecommunication). We decided that we finish our own personal goals before moving on to the last one.

(3) Scheduled Meeting

The team decided that we will hold a meeting every friday. The reason for this is that we feel that it allows the team to have enough time to carry out any actions that where set from the last meeting. With a weeks allocated time between meetings will allow team members to research into their goal in depth and if any problems occur will allow enough time for the team to come together as a group during the week and see whether the other two members of the group can give feedback and advice to help them move on with their section.

The team have decided to present their research findings in a small powerpoint. Every meeting, each member of team will talk us through what they have done throughout the week. We have also agreed that any research we find from a website for example, must be referenced and updated on the social bookmarking service Delicious. This service will allow the team to see where all the information from our final powerpoint has come from. This will keep the team to share bookmarks with eachother and it will help the organisation of the team. As I am team leader, I have nominated myself to set up the Delicous account. At the end of this meeting, I will send an email to the group reviewing the last meeting and making sure they know what actions they need to carry out before the next meeting. As well as this, I will also give them the details of the Delicious account I set up allowing them to bookmark any websites they gathered information from.
